I was talking to someone tonight and happened to mention that I don’t get here as much as I had first hoped and when I do I never have that much to say, what he said was so true I just had never thought of it like that before. But he said that things have to go down straight away or they run the risk of being filtered and ultimately left of. So this ones for you Mr Strellis, OK my be a bit short but it is here all the same.
I heard that George Carlin died today which is always a shame I never knew him or had heard of him before today but he was for sure someones son and maybe someones farther so in my books that qualifies you to be a significant person. Well from what I can gather he was a comic or a comic writer and some one kindly posted this nugget on a forum I look into every now and then. What a insight into the way of thinking of a man, made me smile and then think how bloody right
Here’s what he (Carlin) had to say about death:
The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is
tough.
It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A
Death!
What’s that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should
die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You
get
kicked out when you’re too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work.
You work forty years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement.
You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go
to
grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities,
you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last
nine months floating…
….and you finish off as an orgasm.
Fantastic or what?
Goodbye George Carlin who ever you were.
