been a rough few days with my wisdom tooth still playing havoc, i beat my 8 years old to bed yesterday just had enough, slept solid through till 7 this morning no getting up early today would have been complete wast of time. feeling better today still very soar but nothing like it has been. got called into work again this morning did not really feel like it at all but they had been caught short with flu going round and as always i need the money. a mostly happy morning went by quick as well
spent the afternoon playing through the new glimmer room album yet again, cant get over how much i like it. been playing the mister midi album too loving that! realized today that i will release 3 albums this year, ok one is a collab job but 3 in one year like buses albums from me. i have also got 3 tracks due out on compilations as well soon so it could be a busy time. the play listing on echoes has resulted in sales of now we are six and it is also up on itunes, i might have mentioned this before cant remember, grey mirrors is still lost in the post and not turned up at cd baby so far. i have just in the past hour talked myself into working on a long distance collab been a while since i have done this. i am really looking forward to getting into this it is some thing that has got to turned round in a month so it will be a flurry of work and i have absolutely no idea as to how it will work out, i sincerely hope we can get something we are both totally proud of, the other guy seams as laid back as me about things so i am not worrying about ego’s being dented i dont think there are any involved to be honest. found a great new band on myspace called ‘he then took the shape of a lion’ really great stuff bit of a cross between BOC and the album leaf. anyway i am off upstairs to crack on with this new collab.
music played in last few days included:
mister midi - new album
bit pixel - new album
the glimmer room - new album
mooch - 1967 1/2
portishead - dummy
jimmy cauty - space

Well it was never going to happen was it, bloody cold though. Been in a load of pain today again due to my wisdom tooth being on the move again made me a bit ratty load of biting my tongue all day to keep the peace. Up early working on attachment theory’s quite interesting as well it is, it is good that I can see it in not only Fern and Ash but also relate to a lot of it personally as well. Got sent through the first master of the Mister Midi album sounds really great Wayne has done a good job pulling it all together, Ash is well proud of his bits as well. I hope it does well I think Wayne has big plans for Mister Midi.

Midge this afternoon how come cats really know how to chill?
music played today:
Mister Midi - master
Thomas Dolby - singles

back to work again today a few of the children where a bit cranky today so it felt like a long morning, got a extra shift tomorrow so no work will get done on the live set but the money will certainly come in handy. got the car to get through it’s MOT this month and it ain’t looking good
went to pick up my two from school and came home with five! as busy as it was it was kinda nice to have a house full of happy kids, all is quiet now. we are expecting some snow tomorrow probably be like two flakes and that’s your lot but it is getting colder, wrong time for the heating to start to play up again. one good thing about renting i don’t have to worry about paying for this to be fixed.
Got a track played (every day i die for your body live from the now we are six album) on Echoe’s this week this is a big deal it goes out to a few hundred radio stations in the states, the mail out had links to my albums on itunes, happy daze
this really made my day of to have a bath and get a early night in.
music played today
organisation - OMD
the campfire headphase - BOC

quiet day today Fern decided to empty her gut’s in her bed at just gone 12 last night so we are all a bit tired she is fine now though probably a case of eyes bigger than belly, she has done that before. Maria had a lay in as she went out with the girls last night breckie in bed and got showered in the cards the kids had made at school last week. then off out on a child protection course for 3 hours. i think she found it a bit boring as she has covered this stuff time and time again in her day job. made a cake for my mum i do a wicked orange cake bona fide Mrs Beeton recipe as well, i should have taken a picture. had dinner and then went round to see mum nice to catch up with her on my own for once. didn’t get any of the website done today but did have a hour or so on the keyboards working on the new piece. well nothing is recorded yet just load of notes on scraps of paper, think it will sound great in the end. the call went out for participants for the Hampshire jam jam today (http://www.hampshirejamjam.co.uk), i am so tempted to put my name forward would be something completely new for me. the Hampshire jam jam is a mini electronic music festival that normally is on the same weekend as the Hampshire jam (http://www.jenkins.demon.co.uk/artists.html) proper. the Hampshire jam is a all day electronic music festival normally with 5 of the biggest bands in my part of the universe. you do normally get the same bands though but it is always a good day. the jam jam was set up as a more improvised eve. last year around 10 people played for over 4 hours working in pairs and shifts, as much as i get a knee jerk reaction as soon as anyone mentions the i word, but the music produced last year was bloody fantastic and not at all the long ego fueled solo sessions i had imagined. well off to bed now as i am all sandy eyed
music played today:
KLF - Chill Out

I cant believe it is March already where the hell did Feb go? It is my old friends birthday today a friend from school who I have lost touch with completely over the years. He will be 40 hope he had a great day, strange how you drift from people who where once very important to you isn’t it. Missed a day what happened there then? To tell the truth i spent all day working on a new A-Frame website and gave myself a headache (again) the last thing i could face was doing this, so i left it alone.
Today has been great up early we all went out shopping and decided to take a walk along the river bank in Sudbury, sounds great eh? How cold was that wind? we all where freezing out walk was 10 Min’s of being blown about and moaning so we accepted defeat and went on to buy some food. Maria is out tonight so this afternoon was spent just chilling at home. I tried to get some more web stuff done but ended up laying on my bed playing some music. i just laid there and watched the clouds fly past it was so relaxing. Fern came in and curled up beside me and tried to go to sleep then the cat jumped up, so all three of us just laid there it was great!
music played today:
julian cope - world shut your mouth
Mooch - 1967 1/2
the new glimmer room album (i am totally proud of this one cant wait to get it out there)
